[this is good]

*gasp*

what a waste of my favorite wine!!!

if it didn't have anything else left I think I'd have to hitch to the wine store to get some swill than to use my FB! :-P

good to know!

Meh... forget wine, just pour some Diet Coke in there. Better skip the Mentos, though.
LOL this is one of those awesome MacGuyver tricks everyone should know.. Files it away mentally with Chocolate bars as items to never be without when you are stranded in a nuclear power plant or miles from anywhere with a dead car battery but a bottle of Fat Bastard in my picnic basket.
Would this also work with vinegar? If the substance has to be an acidic liquid, would vinegar work? Or is vinegar too acidic? [I'm not pulling your leg, this is a serious question.] Also, living in Ireland, I've never heard of Fat Bastard wine. Surely that one IS a joke, right?
Yeah, vinegar would work too. Bear in mind that traditional "battery acid" is a mixture of distilled water and sulfuric acid. The wine is probably only just barely acidic enough to get the job done in a pinch. What would you rather use in a demonstration video, though? Sugar-free lemonade, or Fat Bastard Shiraz? It's no contest.
...oh, and you might appreciate this, too. I'm liking these guys more and more.
Alright. Seeing as this is the country of chips and vinegar, I'll never worry about my batteries again :o)
Fat Bastard is an interesting name for a wine, though....
