Spot, our cranky old lady cat (foreground), still can't stand that Rikki exists (that's our young boisterous boy in the background). But I did not pose this shot; I wouldn't even care to try it. And they're upstairs right now, just hanging out together on the comforter, looking for all the world like they do this kind of thing every day*.

He's sleeping on his tail, which is a bit of a shame, 'cause it's at least as long as he is.
The cold weather makes the cats extra cuddly. Even, apparently, with each other. This is new.
In other news, basset hounds are silly.
Yep, she thinks she's a puppy. Or a fifty-pound lapdog.
You have questions, I'm sure, so the comments are wide open. For starters, though, she's a basset hound, probably about two years old, VERY friendly and laid back, isn't particulary concerned about cats (after a sniff or two, she just moves on), and we think she may have had a litter of pups at some point. She's had her shots & spay; we'll be doing our first Dog Bath soonish.
She was also the only dog at the Humane Society who didn't go spaz-bark gonzo when one of the attendants came in, carrying a leash. (She does walkies just fine, though.) Oh, and her name's Zoë.
