MomTux was a fraidy cat who barely seemed able to take care of herself. But once she had the kittens, she was a fierce, smart, protective little beastie.
Yep --- look at them little bodies --- filling out veeeeery nicely on their mama's milk! So glad that Kenya is a wonderful mommy and fat babies are healthy and everyone's happy, Theo. &:o)
LT- When Girlcat had her kittens, I went out with her on her first post-kitten walk. She just laid into a very startled Golden Retriever. Scratched his nose and scared him silly (well, sillier). His person was all apologizing, and saying his dog lived with kitties and wouldn't hurt one. But the poor pooch hadn't done anything except be there. That was enough. She was on a mission to make the world Safe for Kittens. (She calmed down after a while.)

That makes her sound like a superhero. :) I picture her wearing a cape and behind her is the flag fluttering in the wind. Truth, Justice, and Satety for Kittens!

Thoe hope your feeding Kenya well as judging by the weight the kitties have put on She needs a good feeding (slips kenya big bowl of premium gooshyfood and crunchies).
But why is everyone surprisied at Kenya being a good Mommy, She was clearly shown how to be a good parent by Teho en famille/
Have quick snorgle of kits and good stroke and scritch for Kenya
Just FYI, Kenya's been chowing through bowl after bowl of this stuff, along with plenty of fresh water. She'll get skinny regardless, with all the nursing, though; momcats always do. For a while, anyway.
